templit — SAP Business One invoice automation

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 20 August 2026

These terms govern your use of templit — our add-on for SAP Business One and the service behind it. By installing the add-on, entering an API key, or clicking "OK" on the setup prompt, you agree to these terms on behalf of the company you represent. If you don't agree, please don't use templit. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

What templit does

templit is an add-on installed inside SAP Business One. You give it one sample invoice per supplier and choose which fields to capture; templit builds a template from that sample. From then on, dropping a matching invoice onto SAP creates an A/P Invoice draft — never a posted document. You review and post every draft yourself; templit does not post anything to your books on its own.

Extraction is a tool to speed up data entry, not a replacement for your own review. You're responsible for checking each draft against the source invoice before posting it, the same way you would check any entry made by a member of your team.

Access, plans, and billing

  • Access is tied to an API key issued to your company. Keep it confidential — it authenticates everything the add-on does on your behalf.
  • Your plan covers a set number of suppliers. Setting up or updating a supplier's template uses one template credit against that number; importing invoices never does, because that runs entirely on your own system.
  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. You can cancel at any time by emailing us — access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and we don't charge again after that.
  • Where access is provided free of charge, it stays free until we agree otherwise with you in writing. We will never start charging you without that.
  • The prices shown on our website are what we charge. A signed agreement, invoicing details, or terms outside the ordinary plans are agreed directly with us.
  • We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and updates may make the service briefly unavailable.

Your account and API key

Your company is issued a single API key that authenticates the add-on. You're responsible for keeping it confidential and for all activity that happens using it. Contact us immediately if you believe it has been exposed, and we'll issue a new one.

Acceptable use

templit is for processing your own company's genuine supplier invoices inside a properly licensed SAP Business One installation. You agree not to use it to process documents you don't have the right to handle, not to attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or resell the extraction engine or templates themselves, and not to use the service in a way that disrupts it for other customers.

Ownership

Your invoices, the data on them, and the SAP Business One documents templit creates for you are yours. templit and its underlying software, including the extraction engine and the templates it generates, belong to us; your subscription gives you the right to use them, not to copy or redistribute them.

No warranty

templit is provided "as is." Extraction accuracy depends on the quality and consistency of the invoices you feed it, and we don't guarantee it will be error-free — which is exactly why every result lands as a draft for you to review, not a posted document. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or available at all times.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to templit is limited to the amount you have paid us for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as lost profits or lost data, including where a draft you did not review turns out to be wrong.

Ending it, and your data

You can stop using templit at any time by uninstalling the add-on. We may withdraw access if these terms are breached, or where access was provided free of charge.

When you stop, we delete the sample invoices and account record we hold for you, and you can ask us to do it sooner at any point. The templates themselves live in your own SAP database, so they stay with you either way. See the Privacy Policy for what we hold and for how long.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as templit changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll try to notify active customers directly.

Contracts

These terms cover ordinary use of templit. If your organisation needs a signed agreement, a data processing agreement, or specific commercial terms, tell us and we'll put something in writing with you.
